Knowledge Sharing
Overview
Clinicians at RCC and SSCY Centre are supported to attend national and international conferences to strengthen integration of emerging and evidence informed practice changes into clinical care.
Knowledge sharing is also an important part of research. Researchers that partner with Rehabilitation Centre for Children to share their findings with RCC and throughout SSCY Centre in a variety of ways including infographics, publications, summaries in newsletters and social media, videos, and more. Visit the Family Resource Centre at SSCY Centre to see a display of knowledge sharing products from RCC research.
Research findings are also shared through presentations at our monthly webinar series, “Breakfast at SSCY”. Breakfast at SSCY is held on the second Tuesday of each month, from 8:00-9:00. These sessions provide an opportunity to learn about and discuss a variety of topics that are relevant to SSCY families, programs, and staff. Everyone (including SSCY staff, staff at other facilities, and families) is welcome to attend. Attend in person, join the live virtual presentation, or browse the archives for past recorded sessions (note: recordings are not available for every session).
